I was raised and have spent the majority of my life in Corpus Christi. I have been married for almost 30 years and have two grown children. I graduated from Ray H.S., received my Associates degree from Del Mar College and earned my Bachelor’s degree in Education from Corpus Christi State University. I went on to earn my Master’s degree in Educational Administration as well as a Master’s degree in Counseling from Texas A&M – Corpus Christi. I worked for CCISD as a teacher, parent facilitator, and counselor. I spent 16 years as an elementary and middle school counselor. I enjoy volunteering my time in organizations that address issues relating to females and children. I have received awards for my service with the Girl Scouts and Y-Teens.
I specialize in working with children and adolescents as this is my background. However, I am confident in working with any client. I use cognitive behavioral therapy, brief solution focused therapy and play therapy as means of helping clients achieve their goals. I am also able to provide counseling service in Spanish.
I look forward to helping you deal with your life challenges.
