Though I was born in Seguin, Texas, I have spent the majority of my life in Corpus Christi. I have had the privilege to travel to many parts of this beautiful country but always find my way home to Texas!
I first attended Del Mar College earning Associate Degrees in Social Work and Psychology at the same time. It was then that I started to develop the passion that I always had for helping. I later transferred to Texas A&M University – Corpus Christi and earned my BA in Psychology, graduating with honors. I immediately entered the counseling program there and earned my MS in counseling with an emphasis on Marriage, Family and Couples therapy.
My interest in psychology and therapy stretches across several areas. Some of these areas include Psychoanalysis, Analytical Psychology, Narrative Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, REBT and Structural Family therapy. Some of my leisure interests of study are Jungian Psychology and Dream Analysis, both of which I find fascinating.
I enjoy working with people of all age groups. I have experience in both a hospital and clinic settings that included child/adolescent therapy, group therapy, individual therapy, and both family and couple’s therapy.
We are all unique and should be treated that way!
